Questions families actually ask.

For your parents

That fear shaped the whole product. Messages sound like family, never like monitoring — titles only, warm greetings, their language. Escalation is off unless you turn it on, so a quiet dose simply shows "unconfirmed" — nobody is chased unless you choose that. Routines you mark "gentle" are never escalated at all.

No. Nothing to install, no account, no login, no new app — ever. If they use WhatsApp today, they already know how to use FamCheckIn. They simply reply to messages, within their comfort level.

That's entirely your call — escalation is optional, and off unless you turn it on. Reminders-only families just see an honest "unconfirmed" state. If you do enable the gentle ladder: a warm follow-up at 30 minutes, a second language at 60, then your Local Caretaker checks in person, and you're contacted last, with full context. No robocalls, no alarms — switch it off anytime.

Languages

English, Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Spanish at launch — native scripts and romanized spellings both ("haan liya" and "हाँ लिया" are equally understood). Your parent, your Local Caretaker, and you can each use a different language.

Yes. We detect the language of every reply and respond in kind, automatically. She can even switch mid-conversation and FamCheckIn follows. Your dashboard stays in English, showing her exact words alongside the translation.

Trust & data

As little as possible — by design. We never ask for your parents' names: only the title you call them by (Papa, Ma, Chacha), their WhatsApp number, and their time zone. That's all it takes to deliver every reminder, and it means the most personal thing in our system is the love in the title.

Honestly: a tap can't prove a swallow, and we'll never pretend otherwise. What we guarantee is the reminder (99.5% on time), the understanding, and the record — their exact words, time-stamped. For stronger proof, your Local Caretaker can photo-verify, and refill patterns add another honest signal over time.

Encrypted at rest and in transit, with prescription data stored separately from messages and every access audited. GDPR compliant for UK/EU families and DPDPA compliant for India. Local Caretakers see only the profiles assigned to them.

No. FamCheckIn encourages and records daily health routines; it does not diagnose, treat, or replace medical care. For clinical questions, always consult your parent's doctor.

Plans are per parent profile, billed monthly or annually in your local currency. Launch pricing is being finalised — see the Pricing page to join the waitlist and lock in launch rates.
